GroupFit FAQ’s & Location Details

1. What is your “make-up” policy if I have to miss a class?

We understand that things come up, we’re moms!   If you miss a class please feel free to join any other class during the term.  Just let us know which class you’ll attend as a make-up by emailing groupfit@careerfitmom.ca.

2. This term’s classes have already started…can I still join?

Sure!  We’ll pro-rate the fees for the remaining classes in the term.  Or you can drop-in for $20/class.

3. What levels do your classes cater to?  I’m just getting back into fitness…

Our instructors are skilled at offering a variety of options for all fitness levels.  Whether you’re easing back into it or you are a more advanced exerciser, we’ll keep everyone challenged within their own comfort zone.  We want everyone to feel successful in their workout and see results week after week!

4. What are the detailed directions for getting to the class locations?

Eastminster United Church: 310 Danforth Ave. (West of Chester).  Enter through front door of church (on Hampton Ave.). Walk downstairs to basement.  Gym is to the left and down another set of stairs.  Parking available on nearby streets, Green P or Carrot Common.  TTC accessible to Chester Station and a short walk west.

Dance Kids Canada: 1351 Woodbine Ave. (at Cosburn).  Studio entrance is at the back of the plaza from Cosburn.  Parking available in the lot or on nearby streets.  TTC accessible to Woodbine Station and a bus north.

Monkey Magoos Indoor Playground:  1212 Kingston Rd. Upper beach area of east Toronto, at the corner of Kingston Road and Fallingbrook Road, just three blocks east of Victoria Park.  Parking available on nearby streets or Green P.  TTC accessible via Kingston Rd. streetcar.

Teach Me To Fly Preschool:  2560 Gerrard St. E., as it turns into Clonmore, east of Victoria Park.  In the west side of Quarry Plaza with plenty of parking.
