Easy! I can easily incorporate movement into my day. Here are just some examples. I walk to the grocery store across the street instead of driving there. I have my baby in a baby carrier for some extra weight and walk around the block, or I would just walk my kids in the stroller for as long as they would sit in the stroller. Or even better, I could do this all the time rain or shine, watch some TV with my daughter (especially Yo Gabba Gabba) and dance with the show! Or just kick and throw a soft plush ball around the house with my daughter! So many fun ways!

I incorporate movement into my day by biking to work. Not sure yet what I will do when it snows but I like the idea of taking the stairs instead of the elevator during my work day.

Hi Beth,
Walking has become my new best friend -- Terry and I share walking Natalie to school, walking the dog every day after work, walk to someone's office rather than phoning or emailing (I try to walk around the office all the time - I really need the break from the computer).

Congratulations to Jody who was drawn in this month's CareerFit Challenge. I love everyone's flexibility ideas! Remember - stretching is about preventative maintenance. Always hold stretches for at least 20 seconds to get the benefits of enhanced flexibility and to stay injury free!

I can be a slacker about stretching, especially because I work out in the morning and I'm keen to get straight into my breakfast. On the Debbie Seibers Slim in 6 dvd there is a great 14 minute full body stretch. I've put it on my iPhone so I can do it after a workout anywhere. It's easy because I just follow along until it's finished.

I also swear by regular Moksha Hot Yoga to keep my body nice and flexible and pain free.

Stretching after a workout allows my body to relax. I like to incorporate yoga poses in my stretching like Downward Dog & Childs Pose which help stretch the back and leg muscles - very effective after a hard workout!

Triceps stretches feel great after a workout. Bend one elbow behind your head and use the other hand to gently pull the elbow in further until you feel a stretch in your tricep – then switch arms and repeat.
