Protein in this tasty treat keeps you satiated.
A very savvy client of mine played around with this recipe to make it even healthier. These are delicious for an afternoon treat when your sweet tooth cranks up. You only need one – it will keep you rolling until dinner time, so savour it!
2 cups of Almond Butter (or peanut butter)
6 tbsp of Agave nectar (or honey)
6 tbsp of Hemp protein powder (this is optional… I like hemp because
it’s plant based and doesn’t have a strong flavour)
4 tsp of carob powder (or cocoa)
1 1/3 cups of coconut flakes – separate 1/3 for rolling the balls
Mix all the ingredients together, roll in coconut. Should make 27
balls. You can freeze them and they are delicious straight out of the
180 calories per ball.
